The FDOOT441 is a Siemens addressable optical smoke detector in the FDOOT family, compatible with Cerberus PRO and FireFinder XLS fire alarm systems. It uses a photoelectric detection chamber to identify smoke aerosols associated with both smoldering and some flaming fires. When programmed for high sensitivity, the detector meets NFPA 76 requirements as a VEWFD for telecommunications facility fire protection. It mounts on DB-series bases and communicates over the signal line circuit.
