The Macurco HS-C is a companion notification appliance for Macurco fixed gas detection systems. It operates from the 0.5 A alarm relay output found on Macurco GD, CM, CX, and CD series detectors, providing on-site audible and visual alarm indication when gas levels exceed set thresholds. The HS-C is not a standalone life-safety notification appliance and is intended to supplement, not replace, NFPA 72 notification appliance circuits in facilities where gas detection systems are installed alongside the fire alarm system. Confirm relay current rating and wiring compatibility with the connected Macurco detector before ordering.
