Thermotech 302-Series heat detectors are mechanical, fixed-temperature thermal initiating devices used in outdoor environments, unheated structures, and process areas where conventional electronic detectors cannot tolerate the ambient conditions. The 302-ET-194 is calibrated to 194°F and is suited for spaces where ambient temperatures regularly approach the lower 135°F detector range. The rate-compensated design prevents false actuation from slow ambient temperature changes while maintaining reliable response to rapid fire-generated heat.
