The SK-HEAT-ROR-W combines rate-of-rise (ROR) and fixed-temperature detection in one addressable head for the Silent Knight SK protocol SLC. The ROR element responds to rapid temperature increases — typical of fast-flaming fires — while the fixed-temperature threshold provides backup detection. It connects to Silent Knight 5820XL or 6500 series fire alarm control panels (a Honeywell brand). The detector transmits an analog maintenance signal to indicate when cleaning or replacement is required, supporting scheduled service intervals.
