The HI921 is a Siemens addressable heat detector designed for integration with Cerberus PRO and FireFinder XLS fire alarm control panels. Heat detectors provide thermal fire detection in locations where smoke, steam, dust, or cooking aerosols would cause nuisance alarms from smoke detectors. The HI921 occupies one address on the SLC and communicates alarm status back to the host panel, supporting system-wide monitoring and event logging.
