Standard power supply for E3 Series panels

The PM-9 is the 9-amp filtered switching power supply that feeds E3 Series Broadband panels. Standard inputs: 120 VAC at 60 Hz. Output: 24 VDC nominal at 9 A. Built-in battery charger supports up to 55 A/H battery capacity. Auxiliary output: 5 A at 24 VDC, shared between resettable and non-resettable circuits.

PM-9 vs PM-9G

The PM-9G is the 240 VAC variant, used in international markets and US installations on 240 VAC service. Hardware is otherwise identical: same 9A nominal output, same 55 A/H battery charging, same 5A aux. Pick by AC service voltage at the install location.

Battery and aux specifications

Battery charger: 27.6 VDC at 1.4 A max, up to 55 A/H battery capacity. Two batteries fit inside the standard B cabinet, match A/H rating to local code requirements for standby and alarm duration. Aux 24 VDC is shared between resettable (for 4-wire smoke detectors, beam detectors) and non-resettable (for door holders, certain accessories) circuits.

Mounting and adapter plate

The PM-9 mounts inside the E3 cabinet using the 90375 adapter plate kit, required because the PM-9 footprint does not align directly with the standard cabinet mounting pattern. Order the 90375 with the PM-9 for new installs or retrofits.
