Distributed-audio backbone for E3 Broadband

The INI-VGX is the voice transponder gateway at the heart of an INX node. Where the older E3 Classic architecture concentrates amplification at one or two large amplifier banks (AA-100 / AA-120), the E3 Broadband distributes amplification across INX nodes, each INX serves a building floor, wing, or zone with its own dedicated audio path back to the INCC command center. The INI-VGX is the SLC interface that makes the distributed model work.

Typical INX assembly

An INX cabinet typically holds the INI-VGX plus the PM-9 (or PM-9G) power supply, an ILI-MB-E3 or ILI95-MB-E3 intelligent loop interface main board, and up to four AM-50 Series amplifiers. Maximum 150 W audio + 50 W standby per INX. The C cabinet size (E3BB-BC/INX) is sized for this standard INX layout; D cabinet for higher amplifier or battery capacity.

AOM-2SF and AOM-TELF on the INI-VGX SLC

The INI-VGX SLC supports up to 32 AOM-2SF supervised speaker driver modules (for single-channel speaker installations) and up to 16 AOM-TELF fire fighter phone monitor modules. Spec the INX size and amplifier count based on speaker zones plus phone-jack risers needed.
