Adding an AM-50 amplifier to existing cabinets

The AM-50-PLATE provides the mounting pattern and hardware to add one AM-50 amplifier (the 50-watt distributed-audio amplifier used in INX configurations) to an existing E3 INCC or INX cabinet that has a free slot. The plate eliminates the need to replace the cabinet when an installation grows beyond its current amplifier count.

When the plate is the right answer

Two common scenarios: (1) an INX node was originally specified with one or two AM-50 amplifiers and the building expansion requires another channel, or (2) an INCC build is being upgraded to drive distributed audio directly rather than relying on a separate INX. In both cases, the AM-50-PLATE adds amplifier capacity without a cabinet swap. For new-build INX configurations with four amplifiers from day one, the cabinet already has the mounting positions and the plate is not needed.
