The SD365R-IV is the ivory-finish variant of the SD365R duct smoke detector. It uses a photoelectric sensing chamber designed for the airflow conditions inside HVAC ductwork, where velocity can reach 4000 ft./min. The detector mounts to a compatible duct housing and connects to the Fire-Lite addressable SLC using LiteSpeed protocol. When smoke is detected in the airstream, the panel can trigger HVAC shutdown sequences or initiate building-wide alarm notification as programmed.
