High-temperature heat detectors are specified for areas where ambient temperatures regularly exceed the range suitable for standard fixed-temperature or rate-of-rise devices — such as commercial cooking areas, industrial boiler rooms, attic spaces in hot climates, or near steam pipes. The H365HT-IV activates at 190°F (88°C) and uses the same interchangeable B300-series base system as the rest of the H365 family, so the head can be swapped without disturbing existing SLC wiring. The ivory color variant is the standard cosmetic match for occupied ceilings where the white version contrasts too sharply with surrounding finishes. It communicates with Fire-Lite ES-200X, ES-50X, and MS-9050 addressable panels using LiteSpeed or CLIP protocols.
