The BB-26 is a larger-capacity external battery box for Fire-Lite fire alarm systems requiring extended secondary power beyond what internal batteries can provide. Sealed lead-acid (SLA) or valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries at 12 VDC / 26 Ah are installed in pairs to supply the panel's required standby and alarm current loads. Battery selection and runtime calculation must be performed per NFPA 72 Annex B guidelines, accounting for total system current draw in alarm and supervisory conditions.
