Zone relay modules provide multiple independently controlled switching outputs that the fire alarm control panel uses to trigger auxiliary building systems when alarm or supervisory conditions occur. The 4XZMF provides four relay outputs that can be individually assigned to zones or system events — enabling differentiated responses such as stairwell door holder release on alarm, HVAC damper closure on supervisory, or elevator recall on specific floor activation. Relay contact ratings must be matched to the connected load; verify the contact current and voltage specifications against the controlled device requirements.
